About the role

As a Compliance Officer at Sirius in Stockholm you will be part of an exciting and challenging journey where complex issues and creative problem solving is a part of your daily work.

You will be working in the Compliance department, which currently consists of two persons.

Our main area of responsibility is the Swedish entity Sirius International including branch offices within the Sirius group, but the department also supports the Group Compliance function with the development of Sirius’ global compliance framework.

You will play an active part in the Compliance team. This will mean to:

· Analyze and assess new and changed laws and regulations

· Perform risk based compliance controls in the business

· Be responsible for the internal framework for policies and guidelines

· Support and train the business on compliance-related issues

· Participate in internal and global projects, such as implementation of new or changed laws and regulations or various business initiatives where compliance advice is an important input

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is flexible and has an open-minded attitude and a desire to be part of a committed team.

The qualities we are looking for are:

· At least three years of experience within a Compliance function in the financial sector, or equivalent experience from a financial supervisory authority

· Experience from the insurance sector is a merit as well as working in a global operation

· Bachelor or Master degree in law or business administration, or the like

· Good knowledge of financial regulations applicable within the insurance industry, such as Solvency II, IDD, GDPR, financial sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption

· Oral and written proficiency in English
